‘Glenview Dog Boarding Kennels’ is a well-established, exclusively small, family run business. The kennels are situated on their own grounds a few miles north east of Glasgow at the foot of the beautiful Campsie Fells.
We are open all year round and early booking is always advisable.
We have a converted barn which holds 10 large kennels and 1 large outdoor kennel which has its own surrounding run. There are central heating radiators and gas heaters plus individual heated lamps in each of the kennels. We play soft relaxing music throughout kennel block and there are also several DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) plug-in diffusers on at all times to help keep the guest relaxed.
There are 2 large enclosed concrete runs and 2 grass paddocks for our guests to exercise on. Guests are exercised 4 times daily, last outing around 11pm every evening to ensure their comfort overnight.
To help your dog feel at home, you are welcome to bring their own bedding, favourite blanket, toys and treats/tit bits.
Arrival and departure times can be arranged between these times.
For the protection of your dog and other guests, every boarder must have a current vaccination certificate.
There are two separate vaccines required:
- Annual Booster – usually comprising of DHPPI & L
- Kennel Cough – NASAL DROPS that get sprayed up dog’s nostrils – Nobivac KC or equivalent
Dogs need to have had vaccinations done at least 72 hours prior to coming into kennels.
